DV4TD / DV4C / DV4TED4 (8HT/8HX/8HZ/8HS/8HP/8HR/8HY; Ford F6JA/F6JB/F6JD)
"The small 1.4 common-rail diesel PSA built with Ford (2001-2015): 1.4 HDi in the Peugeot 107/206/207/208/2008 and Citroen C1/C2/C3, 1.4 TDCi in the Ford Fiesta and Fusion, 1.4 CD in the Mazda 2. Mostly 8-valve 54-68 hp with a simple fixed-geometry turbo and no dual-mass flywheel in most versions, so it is cheap to run and to repair. Weak spots are leaking injector seals and pipes (common before 2012), turbo failures when oil changes are skipped, DPF and EGR clogging in town use, and a timing belt whose tensioner must be changed with it. Lifespans of 300,000 km are reported."
DW10 2.0 HDi / BlueHDi / Ford 2.0 TDCi (DW10TD/ATED/BTED4/CTED4/DW10F)
"PSA's 2.0 diesel, also sold as the Ford 2.0 TDCi (2004 on), Volvo 2.0D, Suzuki and Toyota. The 8-valve 90 PS is one of the toughest diesels around, with 450,000 km+ examples; the 110 and 136-140 PS add a dual-mass flywheel, FAP and a busier turbo and are the weakest; the 150/163 PS and BlueHDi are well regarded, with AdBlue the main BlueHDi complaint. Budget for clutch and flywheel, keep the EGR and FAP clean with motorway runs."
